Kiteboarding Schools in La Ventana

Kiteboarding lessons La Ventana Mexico

There are many great kiteboarding schools in La Ventana and El Sargento. Explore the schools below:

4ElementsKiteboarding - For more info email: xantos@4elementskiteboarding.com or call: +52 (612) 136-9956.  Xantos and crew are really awesome instructors who offer good technical instruction, are patient and funny.  The school has jet skies, a zodiac and radio helmets to make your learning experience more efficient and safe. On top, they are all local and bilingual kiters.  Highly recommended!

Girl on a Board - Their mission is to Empower Others Through Sport. Who can beat that?  And most of their instructors are women!  We don't know Nicole and Fernando, the owners, but we would love to. They sound like great people.

Kite Mexiko - Local kiters that spend their days between La Ventana and Bucerias.  They are located in the Blue Bay Village.

Ventana Wind Sports - This school offers more than kiteboarding lessons; they rent all sorts of fun equipment!

Elevation Kiteboarding - This is Baja Joe's kiteboarding school.

New Wind Kite School - With instructors that spend their days between Hood River and La Ventana

La Ventana Xperience - Located in La Ventana Beach Resort.

Course Racing - These are racing events - like a yacht race along a course, that involve both speed and tactics. Boards with hydrofoils are now the most common equipment to race on for course races. The goal is to outperform other kiters and come first in the race.

Expression - Freestyle - The kite and board are used to get big air (jumps) so that various tricks can be done while airborne. This style also used for competitive events and is free-format and "go anywhere". Smaller twintip boards and kites with good boost and hangtime are used.

Expression - Wave - Wave riding (kitesurfing) in waves is a style that combines kiteboarding with surfing. This style is popular with surfers since it resembles tow-in surfing. Some riders ride waves unhooked, and without foot straps.

Slalom - Slalom is high speed downwind/reaching action with a focus less on tactics but on board and kite control.

Speed - All in for the win and record hunting.
